3D Maya Modelling
We started with a tutorial from YouTube to make a simple Barstool.
And did the texturing for it.
I started off with a simple block and resized it into shape. Then used 'Insert Edge Loop' tool equally separated to 4 parts.
Then I selected the bottom face and extruded it to make the bottom part.
And compressed the face down again to make the block thinner.
Then I used 'Insert Edge Loop' tool again but this time separated equally to 2 parts.
Then I selected each inserted edge and beveled them.
I selected the beveled face and compressed them to make the creases.
I resized the chair to fit with the size needed.
Then I made the handle, using the soft selection tool and bending it into a curve.
I did the same with the bottom part of the handle, extruding and bending it into shape.
I then positioned them together to the required shape.
And grouped them.
Then I made the chair leg with the same techniques. Using the 'Insert Edge Loop' tool, selecting faces, extruding.
I made the wheel with the same techniques too. The top part was made with bending with the soft selection tool and extruding faces. And the wheel itself is just a low poly cylinder resized into shape.
Then, I repositioned each wheel into the leg of the chair.
For the bottom air pressure of the chair, I used a low poly cylinder and selected the top face of the cylinder and extruding it.
Instead of pulling up the extruded piece, I resized it into a smaller face.
Then I extruded out the face and did the same thing for the slightly bigger piece on the top.
I then reposition everything to fit it into a chair figure.
And textured it.
This are my sketches for the weapon design.
After shaping a cylinder into a bullet form, I rotated it and fixed it to two pieces of blocks.
Then I formed the top part and used a soft selection tool to turn it into a point.
I then made the tube and used the mirror tool to make two of it.
The energy ball is just a simple sphere.
I then textured it too.
Sadly, I don't have the screen shots of the steps I took to build this.
I textured this too.
I even had to model Astro Boy.
I did some sketches, but my final product wasn't the exact same as my sketches.
Again, I forgot to show the process I did with the modelling, but this was a screen shot of when I was trying to texture the robot's stage.
This is the final product.
I really liked the glow the robot gave after rendering.

Mess with an Angel
I noticed the past 2 progression art I've only drawn were characters looking forward, so I tried to draw something with a bit more ang...
