Basic Drawing: Straight Lines, Toning, Shading and Still Live

So, for my first class of Basic Drawing, I had to practice on drawing straight lines with different pencil grips. Which was hard at first but I soon got the hang of it and found out which pencil grip is easier to draw straight lines in different directions (horizontally, vertically or diagonally).
Anyway, these are the small practices I did for my first assignment.

After this, we had to practice on measuring with the pencil and eye judgements. And we were meant to go home and practice more with it.

Later on, I was required to do toning in different ways with pencil and pen. I had to do toning with hatching, cross hatching, dots and scribbles. And an extra blending for pencil.

And with this toning, I had to shade 4 shapes with these 4 different ways with pencils.

A few more classes down the road, we had to practice our first live drawing setting. Which was honestly fun for me because I've already had some experience from the previous college I was in.

Then we had to draw one more live portrait of our choice as our last practice before our finals.
